Armor is a stat shared by all units, including 小兵, 野怪, 和 buildings. Increasing armor reduces the物理傷害 the unit takes. Each 英雄 begins with some armor which increases with level ( 瑟雷西being the only exception). You can gain additional armor from 技能, 道具, 天賦, 和 符文. Armorstacks additively. Excluding  瑟雷西 whose base armor does not scale with levels, base armor 範圍s from 66 ( 奧莉安娜) to 94 ( 茂凱 和  波比) at level 18.

Damage reduction

Incoming 物理傷害 is multiplied by a factor based on the unit的 armor:  
Damage multiplier={100100+Armor,2−100100−Armor,if Armor≥0otherwise
  • 25 armor → ×0.8 incoming 物理傷害 (20% reduction, +25% effective health).
  • 100 armor → ×0.5 incoming 物理傷害 (50% reduction, +100% effective health).
  • −25 armor → ×1.20 incoming 物理傷害 (20% increase, −16.67% effective health).

疊加 armor

Every point of armor requires a unit to take 1% more of its maximum 生命 in 物理傷害 to be killed. This is called effective health.
Example: A unit with 60 armor has 60% more of its maximum health in effective health, so if the unit has 1000 maximum health, it will take 1600 物理傷害 to kill it.
What this means: by definition, armor does not have diminishing returns, because each point increases the unit的 effective health against 物理傷害 by 1% of its current actual health whether the unit has 10 armor or 1000 armor.
Note: Unlike health, increasing armor also makes healing more effective because it takes more effort to remove the unit的 health than it does to restore it.

When a unit的 armor is negative because of armor reduction or debuffs, armor has increasing returns, because negative armor cannot reduce effective health to less than 50% of actual health. A unit with −100 has 66.67% (gains −33.33%) of its maximum health as effective health.

Armor as 成長

These use the 英雄的 armor to increase the magnitude of the ability. It could involve total or bonus armor. By building armor 道具, you can receive more benefit 和 power from these 技能.



  •  蘭頓之兆 主動 increases its slow duration by a base amount plus 0.5% of the wearer的 total armor.

Increasing armor

  •  寒冰霸拳: +60 armor, +30 魔法攻擊, +500 mana, +10% 降低冷卻時間. 唯一 被動 – Spellblade: After using an ability, your next 普通攻擊 deals bonus 物理傷害 equal to 125% of your base 物理攻擊 to surrounding enemies 和 creates a field for 2 秒 that slows enemies inside by 30%. 2 second 冷卻. 2900 gold.

  • TCH  光之使者: +20 armor, +200 health, +20 物理攻擊, +15% 普攻吸血. 唯一 被動 – Vanquish: 普通攻擊 have a 20% chance to deal 100 bonus 魔法傷害.   • SCH  荊棘之甲: +100 armor. 唯一 被動: On being hit by 普通攻擊, returns 30% of damage, before any reductions such as armor, as 魔法傷害. 2200 gold.
  • TC  烏莉特的法帽: +45 armor, +100 魔法攻擊. 唯一 被動: +25% 魔法攻擊. 唯一 主動: Places your 英雄 into stasis for 2.5 秒, rendering you invulnerable 和 untargetable but unable to take any actions. 90 second 冷卻. 3500 gold.
  • SH  中婭沙漏: +50 armor, +120 魔法攻擊. 唯一 主動 – Stasis: Places your 英雄 into stasis for 2.5 秒, rendering you invulnerable 和 untargetable but unable to take any actions. 90 second 冷卻. 3100 gold.

  •  魔力護甲 increases bonus armor 和 魔法防禦 by 2.5 / 5%.
  •  堅毅 increases your 英雄的 armor by 2 / 3.5 / 5.
  •  傳奇護衛 grants your 英雄 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 armor 和 0.5 / 1 / 1.5 / 2 魔法防禦 for each nearby enemy 英雄

A level 18  墨菲特 with 6  荊棘之甲s, 3 points in  堅毅, 2 points in  魔力護甲, 4 points in  傳奇護衛,  W[星之祝福],  W[堅強壁壘],  E[指令:守護],  W[寶石護盾] aura, 藍之雕文s 和 Marks of 物理防禦, 黃之紋章s 和 紫之精髓s of 成長 物理防禦, 和  W[野蠻衝擊] enabled will give a total of approximately 1643 armor. Having an enemy  特朗德 with the same setup use  R[盛怒霸體] on  墨菲特 will yield a total of roughly 1789 armor. This is the highest possible finite amount of armor (without using metagame effects—see below), 和 reduces 物理傷害 by 94.7%. It is still possible to go higher through metagame functions. If a summoner disconnects from the server 和 is in the fountain, his 英雄 will gain 1000 armor. With the same setup as above, a disconnected  蓋倫 with a disconnected  塔裡克 will have approximately 2779 armor.  特朗德 cannot exceed this. This reduces 物理傷害 by 96.5%. If disconnecting grants armor quickly enough that  W[野蠻衝擊] remains 主動,  墨菲特 can reach 3143 armor. This reduces 物理傷害 by 96.9%.  瑟雷西, with his effectively infinite 疊加, can obtain a maximum of 749999.25 armor off his 被動 alone. With the same set-up as above, he can obtain a total of about 788575 armor, reducing 物理傷害 by 99.9873205%. If he disconnects, he can obtain up to 789626 armor, reducing it by 99.987337%
